STAGE-RFC-5: Subject Identifier for MVP: There is a pressing need in DataSTAGE to identify subjects across data sets and systems. A blocker was identified: Seven Bridges and i2b2 were not using the same identifiers for subjects. In order to move through this blocker in time for MVP Go Live, participants of the Boston F2F made the following recommendation:
Studyidentifier (with version)_submitted subject ID
phs<#>.v<#>_submitted subject ID
The study identifier comes from dbGaP. The submitted subject ID was provided by the researcher who submitted the data to dbGaP.
