The BioData Catalyst Coordinating Center (BDC3) has established a formal, standardized nomenclature to help teams and NHLBI navigate and fully understand the BioData Catalyst Strategic Framework, Implementation Plan, and Project Management Plan.
This document explains the rationale for the nomenclature and defines the core terms that are key to understanding the Strategic Framework and associated documents. This RFC contains three main parts:

- Core Documents
- Ancillary Terminology
